Can one add prepaid tax payments to the IRS for the current tax year?

after completed turbo tax federal, it showed i owed over $10,000 federal taxes.  I knew that was wrong because I prepaid over $10,000 in taxes over the 2018 year.  I called Turbo Customer Support and had the answer in less than 5 minutes.  you go to search bar and enter estimates paid---  you get an icon choice to go to estimate taxes paid, or prepaid, and it takes you to the exact place in Turbo Tax to enter the info.  Changed my tax bill from over $12,000 to $1700---

I am sharing these instructions to help others who face the same issue you had finding the spot to enter their prepaid tax payments.

Follow these steps to enter your Estimated Taxes Paid:

• Login to your TurboTax Return
• Click "Search" in the upper right corner, then type "estimates paid" in the Search Box.  
• When the results populate, click the "Jump to Link" 
• From here you can enter any Federal, State, or Local Estimated Tax Payments you made for 2018
