Can my husband claim health insurance deduction if he is self-employed? Both of our names are listed as recipients on the 1095-A, but he is the only one who is covered.
My name is still listed as a recipient because we both shared a policy years ago, but he is the only covered individual. I have Medicare. He is a sole proprietor.

Yes, he can claim the deduction if he is self-employed even though you are both named, but only he is covered. Medicare premiums are also deductible. Do not re-enter them, if you entered them already from your SSA-1099, they will be transferred automatically by TurboTax.
