It does not work that way. The tax file is only stored on your own hard drive when you use the desktop software. If you want to go back and forth between computers to work on your tax return you would be better off using online software so that you can just log in to an online account and continue working.
Oh---and it is not a 2022 return. It is a 2021 tax return for tax year 2021 which just ended.
If you mean using the Online browser version you log into then YES. You can log in from any computer or device and continue. But not if you bought the Desktop CD/Download program that you installed on your Desktop computer. Then it's only on that computer.
Thanks; I meant 2021. Also failed to note that I was using the online version. So, I'll give it a go.
