Can I use 2023 turnbo tax to do a dry run for 2024?

Hello: I am coming back to doing our own married filing jointly tax return and I wanted to do a dry run just to walk through all the questions and estimate what a Roth conversion might look like in our tax planning. Could I do that in the 2023 version while waiting for 2024 to be available?

You will not be able to start a new online return after the October 15 deadline.  Do not mess with or make any changes to the 2023 return you already prepared and filed or you will damage it permanently.   The CD/desktop software could be used for your purpose but you would have to pay for that download.  Why not just wait for the 2024 software to become available later in the year...
