Can I transfer contribution data (amounts) from 2016 return to 2017 return

I am trying to transfer data from a 2016 dummy return to my 2017 return. The dummy return was being used to anticipate the effect of changes in the 2017 tax regulations. It has current 2017 contribution amounts that I do not wish to reenter. Thank you.

No it won't copy the amounts into your 2017 return.
