can I pay electronically and file by mail?

If I get rejected and have to file by mail, can I still pay electronically or will I have to pay by check? Thanks in advance for your prompt reply.

Yes, you can pay online with the IRS or state even when you mail in your return. Any taxes due need to be paid by July 15th (today) to avoid a penalty & interest.

You can pay Federal taxes owed on the IRS website:

https://www.irs.gov/payments

If you owe State taxes, go to your states website for payment options to pay online.
