Update it where? Did you enter it correctly on your tax return in My Info? Did you e-file already?

Once your tax return is filed, you are unable to modify your ZIP code or any other information submitted.

If your name, Social Security Number (SSN), and other tax information on your return are accurate, a discrepancy in the postal ZIP code alone should not impact your filing.
