If I don't pay taxes because I was told I didn't make enough. Am I wasting my time by trying turbo tax?

No one from the user forum can call you. Provide some details. You say someone told you that you do not make enough to file a tax return. What income did you have in 2023? Do you have a W-2 with tax withheld? Some kind of 1099?

No, you are not wasting your time because you can actually determine whether you are required to file or are entitled to a refund, for Free. I suggest you go to TurboTax and start a return for Free and just follow the prompts and answer the questions.
