It is highly recommended that you wait and use your actual Form W-2. It is sometimes hard to match numbers from a pay-stub to a Form W-2. The IRS will use the form Form W-2 your Employer sends them and you do not want to have any discrepancies.
In addition, there are all sorts of codes and additional information reported on your Form W-2 that may not be on your pay stub.
If you file using your last pay-stub and your Form W-2 amounts differ, you will need to amend your Tax Return which could cost you time and money in the long run.
