Can I E-file and submit payment by mail?

Prefer to mail check rather than electronically debit my account

Yes you can e-file your return but you can choose that you will mail a check.  Then you can pay--just do it by July 15, 2020.

 

  If you have federal tax due you can pay by mailing your payment with the 1040V voucher, having the payment taken out of a designated bank account, or you can pay directly on the IRS website.

If you mail a check or money order, use a mailing service that will track it like certified mail so you will know it got there.

"I'll mail a check later" is one of your options for payment.

 

When you select this option TurboTax will print you a voucher to mail in with your payment.
