Can I delete an amended return in Turbotax AFTER it has been "Filed By Mail" ?

Does anyone know how to delete an amended tax return after it has already been set to be "filed by mail"?

I just realized that I do not in fact have to file this amended return. The amended return figures populated in my most recent tax return in Turbotax though, which is not accurate since I'd like to cancel it.

I have not mailed the amended return and don't plan on doing so...

If you started amending your tax return by accident and would like to cancel the amendment, follow the steps below. You'll need to undo any changes you made during the amendment process.

1. Open your return if it isn't already open
2. From the menu, select Cancel Amend
3. Select Yes, I want to cancel my amended return and Continue
4. Remove any forms or changes you made to your return before or after the amend process was canceled
5. Add back in any forms you deleted while amending your return.
