To enter an overpayment or even an estimated payment made during the year, on your 2023 return from 2022 that was not refunded to you, select the following:

1. Federal
2. Deductions and Credits
3. Estimates and Other Taxes Paid
4. Estimates

Before you enter this, be sure it is not transferred over from your last years return if you used TurboTax last year.
