Can anyone explain why TT keeps changing? And why they want me to do everything online and not on my desktop??? My issue this time is Itsdeductible, it used to be in TT

I spent a lot of time yesterday trying to find ItsD.  I couldn't find it by logging in to TT.  I had to go into TT to 'Learn More' about importing from ItsD to find it.  Not very straightforward.  Did I miss something or is this really the only way to get there?

We appreciate your many loyal years of using TurboTax!

ItsDeductible is a web based application, and as such it cannot be downloaded on to your computer.

No, it is your prerogative to use TurboTax CD/Download or TurboTax Online. Both are supported. By signing in, your It's Deductible details are safe.

Here is an article for guidance: How do I import my donations from It's Deductible?

I do appreciate the quick response, but I am still confused on a couple items.

By the way, I was able to complete my entries with ItsD online and, after some struggles, get them imported into my desktop TT.  My goal is to do everything on my desktop, but I could not find a way to download ItsD, so I completed it online.  This is the first time I have come across the need to do ItsD online.

My primary Question:  Is there a way to download ItsD?  I could not find it.  (and side note, I had a terrible time getting to the ItsD page (thank you for providing a link), I do have it bookmarked.)

My secondary issue is trying to get to the ItsD. page through TT webpage.  I could have missed it, but couldn't find it, and the link you provided was only for online entries.

A little bit of positive feedback, I do love the idea of being to enter ItsD donations all year round.  It can be quite time consuming, so this is a nice added feature.

Thank you for whatever clarifications you can provide.

Some background, I am running Windows 10 on an hp desktop, and using turbo tax except for several years recently when my taxes were too complicated for me to manage.  Other than that, I have been a TT user for nearly 30 years.
