CA Return Amended Got Rejected

Is anybody have a problem with amending their CA Return for a refund and applying it to Estimated Taxes instead of receiving a refund?  Got rejected because Sch X Part 1 Line 4 (Amended Refund) did not equal Form 540 Line 115 (Refund).  Of course, the amended refund will not equal the original refund.  So hard!
