Alharr94 how long did it take to get the letter?

i just called back and i was told letter 5071c was mailed to me on the 14th. did anyone get this letter?

I haven't got the letter but was told the same thing 14th

Nope I was told it was.sent out the 4th never got it

And told it can take up til March 5th

my problem is she told me i had to fill out the letter and return it, however what i am showing even on the irs website was that letter is the identity verification letter and can be answered online or over the phone and she said it could not

They said it supposed to have a number with a code or a control number on it

I just got off the phone w them and they said a letter was sent on the 7th... I didn’t receive anything yet.. I wonder how long is this going to take?  She said that some ppl have to call and some people have to do it online ... how long for this letter ??
