Bug with rental expenses

Bug with rental property expenses

I'm having an issue with the "rental property info" using the online version of Turbotax. When I try to enter my expenses, only "Real estate taxes", "Mortgage interest", and Miscellaneous show up.... all my other expenses entries will turn to zero and shows "Not Started". For example, after entering the information for "Insurance premiums", the site shows 0 and "Not Started" even though I have already entered the data. When I click "start", the dollar amount for "insurance premium" is still there, but it's not shown on the "rental property info" page where all the expenses are shown. What is the deal here? This is a brutal bug.

In TurboTax Online, are you able to click on Federal Review down the left side of the screen?  What kind of messages do you receive, if any?

When you return to Here's rental property info, are the expenses now reported properly?

If the expenses are still not reporting properly, you may want to close out of TurboTax and clear cache and cookies.  Then restart TurboTax.

You may also want to close out of TurboTax and start again in another browser.

Yes, I have tried clearing cookies and tried a different browser, but it still doesn't work. I even tried using the mobile app to see if that would solve it, but it didn't. I'm at a loss but it's a major problem that this software has this bug for rental properties.

You may consider switching to the desktop version of TurboTax so you can complete your return by the deadline. Considering the issues you have encountered, you may be able to request the software at no charge.
