Bug discovered with TurboTax Online
I discovered a bug within TurboTax's online software. I have an HSA and discovered after downloading my return that the software is erroneously coding Box 12W on my W2 (which is for HSA contributions) as line 23 on my 1040 (i.e. treating it as "other taxes, including self employment taxes"). This has caused a huge tax bill, which I believe is unnecessary. When I checked my Schedule 2, line 2 included the $8300 amount as "uncollected social security tax on life insurance". How do we get this bug resolved so I can submit my taxes?

It's not a bug. You mistakenly entered code M in box 12 of your W-2 instead of code W. Go back to where you entered your W-2 and correct the box 12 entry.
