Brokerage lock out

RE Turbotax.  I tried to use the brokerage auto link, which had worked last year and earlier, but this year I was locked out of my account after  few tries using tubotax.  Merril edge.  I was able to reauthenticate and got a new passcode, but I had to manually download my tax reports from them to enter into Turbotax.  And why is turbotax marked as spelling problem, when that is the name of the product??

I resolved the issue for me.  My COMPLAINT was for your information, to point out the flaw or incompatibility, that exists in your software working with my broker.  Thanks.

After regaining access to your Merril Edge account, was there a specific error received when attempting to import your documents?

After regaining access to your Merril Edge account, was there a specific error received when attempting to import your documents?

 

I received no message from Merril except that my account had been locked due to repeated attempts to sign on.  I copied and pasted the passcode from Turbo tax as a sign in to Merril when I did log in and was recognized, with some delay, thus I knew the passcode was correct.  I did not attempt to import again after changing that code at the prompt of Merril, instead downloading the Tax statements to my computer to fill in the blanks on Turbo tax.
