I made a traditional IRA contribution of 6000 for 2019 in June 2020. I then converted this amount to an existing Roth IRA a week later. My traditional and Roth IRA accounts are from same brokerage firm.
I'm seeing 2019 Form 5498 in my traditional IRA but not in my Roth IRA. Is that form required in my Roth IRA? I'm asking my brokerage why that form is missing in roth ira account.
In both of the monthly statements from traditional and IRA accounts, the description states "roth conversion from [traditional IRA] transfer to [roth ira]"

The Roth conversion took place in 2020 and therefore this will be on you 2020 Form 5498.
Please make sure you entered the nondeductible contribution on your 2019 return and the conversion will be reported on your 2020 return.
