I am using Turbo Tax and filing my return for myself and my husband. He works on the reserve and I don't. His box 14 is empty on his T4 but box 71 has an amount. I have filled in all info for my return and his return as well. I have left box 14 empty on his return since there is no amount in it on the T4. I put the total amount in box 71 as indicated on hisT4. Now when I go to file with CRA it keeps telling me I have to put something in Box 14 for my husband who has indian status and works on he reserve. He has already indicated in personal info of is indian status. What do I do?

Sounds like you did everything right. You may try to include 0s in box 14. Is it coming up as an error or a warning? If it is a warning you can skip it and Continue.

    Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

It is a warning and when I skip it, it says CRA NETFILE: You have errors and wants me to print the return and mail it. I tried putting 0s in box 14 but I still get the warning and then the error that won’t let me file it online.
