Big mess up

So when I did my taxes through turbo tax, I was told my Federal refund would be $1,428.00 , and told I would get the direct deposit within 21 days. Not only did I wait over a month,my refund was not even half of what you guys said I would get. I have a hard time believing that I would only get barely over $600. What happened? What mistake was made on your part? I did everything 100% honestly. I am very pissed.

Does the IRS federal tax refund website shows the amount sent is less than what was reported on your tax return? - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

If so, you will need to wait for the IRS to send you a letter which will have the changes the IRS made to the return which changed the refund.  If you disagree with the IRS there will be a procedure in the letter to dispute the IRS changes.

OMG.  This is also the same with me but my life is upside down now

The bad part is, that this didn't just happen to me. My fiancee also got this  exactly the same. Now that it has been said again, I now know 5 people this year alone that it has happened. I've used TurboTax for years. But I will not ever use it again.
