Backpay taken out of my federal tax return for back pay child support.

I owed $1000 in back pay from child support. I received my federal taxes on my card with the $1000 taken off. The money went to the Department of human services. Also, how long will it take until my childs mother recieves the money on her child support card?? It was march 28th 2018 when i recieved my federal tax rerurn. Today is April 2nd, and she says there's still no money on her card. Can anyone let me know how I can find out exactly when she should recieve the $1000??

You will get the money. The IRS will deduct what he owes, as long as everything has been filed from the attorney general, and they will send the money to you. Had this happen several times with my ex.
