Backdoor Roth IRA Conversion for 2026 also for 2025?

If I converted a traditional IRA for 2026 to a Roth IRA, do I have to go through the same process for setting up a Roth IRA for 2025 or can I contribute directly to the 2025 Roth IRA without doing a backdoor conversion?

Backdoor Roth IRA Conversion for 2026 also for 2025?

you only need one Roth account regardless of what you're doing whether it's contributions or conversions
