Can I file back taxes for 2012 and forward?

TurboTax does not support tax years prior to 2016 after October 15, 2019.
Go to this website for prior year tax software - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/
Go to this IRS website for free federal tax forms, schedules and instructions - https://apps.irs.gov/app/picklist/list/priorFormPublication.html
Only tax returns for tax years 2016 forward can be filed with a tax refund and have the tax refund paid after October 15, 2019. Tax returns with a tax refund have to be filed within 3 years after the due date for the tax return.
You cannot use TurboTax to prepare returns that far back. If you are that far behind it would be a good idea for you to seek local paid tax help. TurboTax software for years earlier than 2015 is "retired" and cannot be used. And 2015 is on edge of going away, too. So you can only use TT software now for 2016, 2017 and 2018. Today (10-15-2018) is the last day to start a 2018 return online, in fact .
Another option--not ideal-- is to get the paper forms from the IRS and prepare 2012-2015 by hand. Each year has to be prepared separately and each must be mailed separately. You cannot combine income from different tax years on the same return.

If you do want to use TT software for the "later" years, you need to download it to a full PC or Mac, not a mobile device.
Remember to prepare your state return as well—if you live in a state that has a state income tax.

And....it is too late to receive a tax refund for any tax year earlier than 2016. If you owe tax due, the IRS wants to be paid. You will be subject to late penalties and interest for the amount owed, for which the IRS will bill you later when they receive the return and payment. You may need to set up payment plan if it is bad....
