I have done numerous stock sales including ESPP sales through Fidelity, and the 1099 form is 90 pages long. Can I have TurboTax automatically download the necessary info from Fidelity's 1099 form?
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
Fidelity is a partner with TurboTax. Go to the 'Wages and Income' section of your federal tax return and scroll down until you hit 'Investment Income'. Click start next to the investment category you're dealing with and then follow the prompts. You'll be able to log in to your Fidelity account from there and download the statement directly into your tax return.
Does this work if I am using the downloaded version of TurboTax, instead of the online version?
Yes.
