Assistance with 740NP

I receive a Government retirement through the Postal Service. I moved to FL from KY in September 2018. FL does not have state income tax. Do I need to file a 740NP for the time spent in KY in 2018?

Yes. According to the KY Dept. of Revenue: "Residents moving out of Kentucky during the year must report income from all sources while a resident and from Kentucky sources while a nonresident."

So you would need to file KY 740NP and include the income you received while living in KY.
