No. There are no monthly child tax credit payments for 2024. That was for tax year 2021 only. There is an enhanced child tax credit that was proposed for 2023 or 2024 but it has not been passed into law.
As of now, the child tax credit for 2023 is still $2000, with a refundable “additional child tax credit “ amount of up to $1600. For tax year 2024 the refundable portion will be $1700.
No one here knows if or when the proposed enhanced child tax credit bill will pass.
