Any other long time (25 years here) users unsatisfied with current versions of Turbo Tax?

I'm strongly considering jumping to H&R after being a loyal TT customer for about 25 years.  Reason:

1.  You can no longer see the status of what's happening, and how changes are impacting your current tax

2.   You can no longer view forms, or see the data you're working with.

3.   You can no longer navigate menu options to move between different items, or areas you want to view or work on.

4.   Constantly forced back to repeating questions over and over.

5.  Any attempt to revisit a section results in being forced through multiple repeated questions.

6.   Prompts and questions no longer contain a reference the specific form or box the information is going into.

If I wanted to answer questions, I'd hire an accountant.

What say the community?  Has TT dumbed their product down so far for the room temperature IQ crowd that it has become burdensome for everybody else, and especially burdensome for folks with complex taxes?

It sounds like you are using TurboTax Online, but previously used the desktop TurboTax software. You would be much happier if you go back to desktop. It would eliminate most or all of the reasons you are dissatisfied. The current desktop software is pretty much the same as previous years. TurboTax Online always had less capabilities than the desktop software.
