AMT form 6251 is not getting generated for me, It got generated last year for 2023 Tax return even through I did not have to Pay AMT ?

If Form 6251 isn't generating in TurboTax this year, it could be due to changes in your income, deductions, tax laws, or software updates.

To manually trigger Form 6251 in TurboTax, follow these steps:

1. Log in to TurboTax: Open your TurboTax account and sign in.
2. Use the search function: Click on the magnifying glass icon (search bar) at the top.
3. Search for AMT: Type "AMT" into the search bar and press Enter.
4. Select the relevant link: Click on the link that says "Let's see if you need to pay the alternative minimum tax (AMT) this year."
5. Answer the questions: Follow the prompts and answer the questions to determine your AMT status.
6. Force the form to print: Scroll to the bottom of the AMT section. There should be an option to force the form to print. Enter a value (usually '1') in the field labeled "1=force Form 6251, 2=when applicable.
