Amex promotion did not apply for deluxe. I already paid for it

I had added the $10 off Deluxe offer to my Amex credit card. I was expecting to see it get deducted before I pay with Amex in Turbotax website. But it did not. How do I get $10  credited now? There was no specific instruction to get this $10 during checout.

Hi,

I had the same problem. Steps followed: 1) Add offer to the card, 2) Click on the link in the offer (I noted the link wasn't specialized and was very general), 3) Sign in, choose offer and pay by card. 

I didn't see discount getting applied. I called turbotax, iterated the complete story and they processed a refund to my card for the offer amount.

Well, not technically! You have to submit a request and they will call you ;). I am not aware of any other way.

This has happened to me today. So far I have been bounced around for 3 hrs between intuit people. And has not be resolved. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
