How to amend a tax return due to accidentally filling the wrong tax status? Does an amendment cost?

Good news, amendments are free!

You'll just need to sign into your TurboTax account. Start an amend, and head to the personal info section, to make any changes required. I'm including a TurboTax article here, that will provide more details.
