Amendment Transmission Not Going Through

I made a mistake on my taxes this year which I need to correct so my ex wife can file her taxes. Every time I try to submit/file my amendment I get an error saying,

 “We could not e-file your return for the following reason: A server problem occurred while processing your e-file. Please try again and if that fails contact customer service.” 

I have tried submitting this over multiple days and still the same error pops up. I have called customer service and have not been able to talk to anyone. I’m hoping there is a simple solution that I’m missing.

I'm having literally the exact same problem I called to talk to someone yesterday and they had me delete the forms and resubmit the forms to make sure I was submitting them correctly which I was because obviously it's not super difficult but it still continued not to work her only advice was for me to try again first thing in the morning when not a lot of people are using the server but once again unsuccessful and I'm thinking I'm going to just end up having to print out and mail in the amend if you found a solution please let me know redoing it and resubmitting it unsuccessful closing it clearing out all the cache making sure it's updated unsuccessful I need a solution.
