Amending the refund amount before filing

I have a federal tax refund due for 2020. The return has not been filed. I wish to change the amount I wish to have refunded and the amount applied to 2021 taxes. How do I do that? Thanks.

Open the return and revisit that section ...  

- Federal Taxes    (Personal for Home & Business)

- Other Tax Situations

- under Additional Tax Payments

- Apply Refund to Next Year – Start or Update
