amending a tax return

We sold our primary home in 2021 and qualified for the exclusion of the capital gain. I did not report the sale on my tax return because I did not realize we had received a 1099S. I found the 1099S this summer. Should I file an amended return? if so, can that be done via TurboTax?amended return

If you did the original return with TurboTax you can amend it but you will have to mail it. Amended returns can take 6-9 months to process.
