Amended tax issues

Filed 2021 tax return and received federal tax return but not state. Amended 2021 and owed federal which I paid. According to amended taxes our state return was much lower but still getting a refund. State say we owe money, but original refund was never received. What should I do or contact?

You should have received a notice from the state explaining what they changed on your tax return and why they think you owe money.

If you do not understand the explanation given, you can contact TurboTax support for help/clarification.

If you did not receive a notice explaining the reason for the adjustment, you should contact the state to request an explanation in writing.
