Question

Amended State Tax Refund

Received additional NY state refund for 2016 in 2018.  Does this get reported on 2017 tax return or 2018 when the funds were actually received?

    Its reported in the tax year received - 2018

    I have not filed amended return and my original refund was excepted by IRS but never sent to me
