Amended return

I filed an amended return and it was received in February 2022. It is still not processed. How will this affect my 2022 return?

It will only affect as far as a 2021 carryover to 2022 was changed. If no carryovers were changed E.G. capital loss carryover, then it will not affect 2022. If a carryover was changed, then it will affect 2022.

The amended return was due to a credit card that was charged off. The bank sent me a 1099 for the money they wrote off.
