I used TurboTax to submit our taxes for last year. We received our refund. I then realized I made an error and submitted an amended return. I then realize my amended return was incorrect and tried to resubmit another one and it told me to wait until the amended return had been processed. How do I get this all straightened out?

Yes, it is best to wait until the IRS has reviewed and processed your initial amendment before submitting another one. This will prevent any confusion with your return.

It might be best to check the IRS website for the status of your amendment to know when it is processed. Then you can send in the second amendment.
