Amended return E-file issues

Hello, I filed my return via turbotax desktop for my 2023 returns but needed to amend them. After going through and amending the returns I have run into a few issues: when it makes me sign the return I input today's date (2/4/2025) but it will give me the error stating

"You either didn't enter a signature date or entered an invalid signature date. Verify and make any necessary corrections here. Your signature date must be on or after 01/01/2024 through 12/31/2024."

If i change to the date that i originally submitted my tax return after attempt to transmit I get the error stating

"TurboTax was unable to send your return to the Intuit Electronic Filing Center, for the following reason:
Transmission failed: The Intuit Electronic Filing Center is closed for the 2023 Personal Income Tax filing season.
October 31, 2024 was the last day to file returns electronically.. Please file your return(s) through the mail.
The Intuit Electronic Filing Center is closed for the 2023 Personal Income Tax filing season. October 31, 2024 was t last day to file returns electronically.. Please file your return(s) through the mail.
Looks like we've had a technical hiccup."

Please let me know how to proceed

E-filing is closed for 2023 returns. Your amended 2023 return must be filed by mail.

In the File section of the program did you select File by Mail? The 2023 amended tax return cannot be e-filed using TurboTax, it must be printed and mailed.

if federal/state accepts the e-file, then turbotax should support it!

TurboTax is do-it-yourself tax software.

Only certain paid tax pros using professional tax software can e-file past year amended returns. You cannot e-file an amended return that you prepared yourself using TurboTax. Your 1040X must be printed, signed and dated in ink, and then you need to mail it in. Use a mailing service like certified mail so you will know the IRS received it, since you will have a long wait for it to be processed.
