Am I a dependent?

Hello!

I am currently 21 and a full-time student. I am in my third year of college. However, I also support myself 100%. I fully pay for all of my own expenses and my own schooling. I am still required to claim my parents on my FAFSA form, but do they still claim me as a dependent?

Your parents can claim you up to the age of 24  UNLESS you are self supporting using income from working. School loans or scholarships don't count as income for support.
