I don't think my first post made it through so I'm going to do this again. My separation agreement was Final in February 2017. Should I have claimed my alimony as an income.?

Alimony (spousal support) you received should be reported as income if the divorce or separation agreement is executed by December 31, 2018

Yes, since  your divorce or separation agreement was finalized before to January 1, 2019.
