hello, thank you for holding this event for us first timers.

I am stuck on the AL FIT Wkst: Part 2 Line 15

Many of the boxes were not filled in on this worksheet when it asked me to review it. 

I don't have any child tax credits or dependents.

The only boxes that are filled include my Earned Income Credit and other boxes that have a 0. The rest are blank.

I am being asked to review Part 2 Line 15 and it says come back April 7 for the revised guidance calculations.

It is getting down to the last minute here and this is the second time TT has asked me to wait a week for some form.

Alabama passed Act 2022-37 which changed the federal income tax deduction in February.  The ALDOR has created an Excel spreadsheet to assist in the calculation of the federal income tax deduction for paper or MAT filers.  To use this spreadsheet you must have your completed 2021 Federal 1040/1040-SR/1040NR and all schedules, forms and worksheets used to calculate your federal income tax.

An automatic six-month extension is granted until October 17, 2022, for 2021 individual income tax returns.
