I filed using Turbotax last year (and years prior) and this year it got rejected by the IRS because it didn't match what they have. I have triple confirmed (e.g., pulled up last years Turbotax and looked at the actual Form) and the number is correct. I even noticed that when I filed last year, it didn't have the "00" after the decimal point, so I tried it both ways: (XXX.00) and (XXX.) - no difference. Any suggestions?

If the IRS system doesn't like what 2024 AGI you've entered, and it was the correct number from your original 2024 return, then try using a 2024 AGI of 0. That will sometimes work, especially if you filed late in the year last year. It can't hurt to try. I assume that you are not filing a joint return since there was no mention of such.

Strangely that worked, thank you!
