you use the 2019 AGI (line  8b) as originally filed in order to e-file 2020

The 1040 line 4b & 5b are for retirement income - they are not your AGI.

On your 1099-R is the IRA/SEP/SIMPLE box checked?   If yes, then it goes on line 4a & 4b, if not checked it goes on line 5a & 5b.   Look at the form you received and what you entered.
