I have had my taxes rejected 5 times now.
I've tried the 2020 AGI, the 2021 AGI, 2019 AGI. $1. $0.
NOTHING is working. And Turbotax keeps saying I can't even file by mail because I already prepaid with a debit card?

i would like to add if anyone else is going through the tax hell i am lol-
i got onto the irs website to grab my actual tax transcript. it appears the number on the transcript does differ from my 2020 accepted return. i wonder why that would be?
if anyone is having issues ("access denied" error) getting the tax transcript- try using microsoft edge as a browser and switching to internet explorer mode. worked for me.
fingers crossed. i'll update with whether this works.
You can always file by mail. But if you want to file by mail, you can't have your Turbotax fees deducted from your refund, and you can't have your refund paid to you on a debit card. Go back and revise those choices.
The first time you e-filed, you chose a 5 digit e-filing PIN. To verify your identity now, you must either use the same 5 digit e-filing PIN, or your last year's AGI (2020, not 2019 or 2021). In some cases, if your 2020 tax return was not processed in time, your 2020 AGI won't be in the database and zero will work. But sometimes, an AGI problem can't be fixed by the taxpayer, it's just a problem with the IRS, and you have to mail your return.
absolutely insane. and this is the only answer i can conclude would be correct, since i have tried them ALL.
i don't know how that may work seeing as i already prepaid for the software and the amount owed.
