How the heck do i manually change what i want my 2024 estimated taxes to be.. I cannot find it anywhere. I see where i can adjust the payments i made last year, but i cannot seem to modify that turbo tax wants to pay this year in estimated payments. I want to change both my Federal and State to higher amounts.

Yeah, it got me too. Go to Federal Taxes, click on Other Tax Situations. Go down to Other Tax Forms. Click on start. It looks like you are doing a regular W-4. just keep going. Good luck.
Switch to Forms mode and open the Estimated Tax Payments Options sheet. You can even select to print the estimates with just your personal info and no amounts. You can play with and tweak the amounts. You can open the individual 1040ES forms and override the amounts.
You can print them with the amount you want in the Desktop program. I used to. But now I use the preprinted forms the IRS sends me each year and write the amount on it. Then they fit in the envelopes the IRS sends with them. Much easier. Or you can just pay the IRS directly online. No forms involved. And you don't have to cut them.
Same for state. Find the estimates in the state forms.

Thank you...
is this through using a w-4 or directly on the 1040-ES.
if 1040es type "estimated" - no quotes in the search/jump to box
highlight the line that says estimated taxes and w-4 worksheet
click on open form
enter your desired numbers in the 2024 column
then click on quickzoom to estimated tax options worksheet and select 100% of 2024 tax
or simply print them out as is and manually change the amounts.
the easiest way to pay other than mailing in the 1040-es with a check is to use the iRS payment website
