Adding Another W-2

I already put in my W-2 information and went through the process of filing my taxes all the way up to reviewing it all. I tried to go back to add another W-2 since I got two this year. Every time I try to add one it takes me back to different questions, specifically the one where it asks me about the natural disasters. I have tried typing in "W2" into the help chat, but it always takes me back to the question. Whenever I go into "Wages & Income" and try to review my W-2 it also takes me back to the question. The same thing happens when I go below to Wages and Salaries and click start, it takes me to the same question. Once I get to the question it takes me through the same process and never to the W-2. How can I add another W-2?

Adding Another W-2

Try to remove all the Form W-2s from the program and re-enter both of them.  Here are the steps:

In TurboTax online,

1.  Sign into your account, select Pick up where you left off

2.  Select Tax Tools, click on the drop down arrow

3.  Select Tools

4.  Under Other helpful links, choose Delete a form

5.  Select Delete next to the Form W-2 and Continue with My Return

To enter both of your W-2s, follow these steps:

  • Sign back into the account, select Pick up where you left off
  • At the right upper corner, in the search box, type in "w2" and Enter
  • Select "Jump to w2"
  • Follow prompts

Per IRS, employers are required to report wage and salary information for employees on Form W-2. Your W-2 also reports the amount of federal, state and other taxes withheld from your paycheck.  For more information, click here: Form W-2  Once you enter your W-2 information, the amount will be transferred to line one of your Form 1040.

Adding Another W-2

Enter w-2 in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen.  Click on Jump to w-2

On the screen labeled Your W-2 info so far click on Add a W-2

Still does not work. Now when I click the start button under the W-2 or click the review button it just refreshes the page.

Adding Another W-2

In TurboTax Online Free Edition, I am able to:

  • Down the left side of the screen, click on Federal.
  • Across the top of the screen, click on Wages & Income.
  • Under Your income, scroll down to W-2.
  • Click on Edit/Add to the right of W-2.
  • At the screen, Your W-2 info so far, click on Add another W-2

Are you able to do this?

Have you e-filed the tax return?

Have you tried opening TurboTax in another browser?

Have you cleared cache and cookies?

See this TurboTax Help.

Adding Another W-2

I am able to get into my income from federal but it I do not see an Edit/add button, just a "Needs review" Button. And when I click that it just refreshes the page.

I have not e-filed the tax return

I have tried using Turbo Tax in another browser

I have cleared cache and cookies on my browser.

It all does the same thing. It refreshes the page when I click on the button needed to go to my W-2. I will keep tryin, thanks for the reply.
