I filed January 23 and was accepted January 24 by the IRS according to TurboTax. Nothing has been updated on where's my refund. TurboTax said it was accepted still no date I paid the $25 if I have the tax credit. Has anyone else got a date or their refund?

I have done taxes for a few people and the friends that have the earned income credit their Federal is still processing my other friends who did not have dependents they have already received their federal refund but the state is different even though you have dependence it seems like the state is being sent quicker than the Federal it says due to the law they are unable to stop processing Federal returns until the middle of February if you claimed the earned income credit it says to check the website on February 22nd

Yes, there is a delay in certain refunds that is impacting many taxpayers, but this will not impact the 5 days early option you paid $25 for. Taxpayers that claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and/or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) are experiencing delays in their refunds. ‌This is because the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act (PATH Act) prevents the IRS from issuing early refunds (before mid-February) on any tax return that claims the EITC and/or ACTC.‌ It is anticipated that by February 22, the IRS’s Where’s My Refund tool will be updated.

If you paid for the 5 days early service, you will receive it. ‌If your federal refund is deposited into your selected bank account less than 5 days before the IRS refund settlement date (the date it would have arrived if sent from the IRS directly), then you will not pay the 5 days early fee.

Here's some more information on the 5 days early option: Your refund 5 days early, guaranteed
