Accepted Fed Return, with follow-up notice regarding a W2 needing attention

I was notified on 3/5/25 that the IRS accepted my 2024 FED Return, currently (3/17) it is in a "pending" status. Today, I received an email from TurboTax indicating my W2 needed attention, but with no specifics. I have reviewed the W2 that was uploaded several times, and all boxes are accurate, including all personal information.  How can I get more information to resolve what is needed.  I did upload a copy of my 2024 W2 to my Intuit account. Is there anything more that I should do?

Thank you

It was accepted on 03/05 - then you say it is pending on 03/17.    Where did you see pending, today?    Check your e-file status for your federal and state.    Does

I referred to my return as "pending" because I was notified today, 3/17, that my W2 needed attention.  As I mentioned, I did not find any inaccuracies in the W2 information that was uploaded to Turbo Tax. So where do I go from here?

You may have received an email from Marketing. Others have posted about a W-s needing attention, and it was a marketing email.  If your return is showing as accepted using the Where's My Refund tool, than it is likely ok or you will get a notice form the IRS regarding an issue.

You can use this IRS tool Where's My Refund? to check on the status of your refund. It provides updates regarding the processing of your tax return. This is the best way to track the status of your refund.

You can also try calling Customer Service at to see if they have any additional information about this: Their number is 800-446-8848 TurboTax Customer Service.

You can also call the IRS: 1-800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday.
