I want to opt out of the Obamacare penalty. It's $750. How do I get it off of my TurboTax so I can file for my regular federal taxes?
I'm sorry but actually you don't have to pay the Obamacare penalty tax. It's there's no liens levies or penalties if you don't pay it. What they do to get it back is to take your return and that's all they can do. What I want to do, is not have to file with it on my income taxes with TurboTax.

You will not be able to file with TurboTax then and the IRS will reject any form that does not comply with the law.

If you want to break the law and not pay your taxes, just don't pay it.
It is required to report it on your tax return, or the IRS will not process your tax return. The penalty is still owed, even if enforcement of paying it is limited.
